Broken Hangers holds a deeply personal and sentimental meaning behind its name. The company was named in loving memory of my son Alex,  who passed away in 2021 at the age of 14.

Alex was a remarkable individual, known for his intelligence, courage, and sense of humor. He had a mischievous streak that brought joy to those around him, often culminating in a contagious belly laugh. Among his many interests, hangers held a special place in his heart. Alex would playfully break hangers, finding great amusement in the process.

Each time the name Broken Hangers is spoken, it serves as a touching tribute to Alex's memory and the happiness he brought to others. Even the sight of a hanger brings a smile to my face as I fondly recall his vibrant smile and infectious laughter.
